Somewhere there’s a quote about photo apps being a symptom of the laziness among the brightest minds of our generation. All these people just trying to get rich by creating a new Instagram or the latest twist upon it, instead of finding new, real problems to solve.
I quite agree with that.
But Rando from us two feels a bit different.
It does give your photos a different format (these circles). And it’s social, but not in a bean-counting Facebook/Instagram way. It’s a different gesture, gifting rather than sharing photography.
You take your photo, send it off and get another photo back from a stranger.
You don’t know who it’s from, only where it has come from.
It’s full of nice surprises and little connections.
