It was the NMA Effectiveness Awards last week. And we won the award for best use of social media with our Idea campaign. Yay!
It was nice for a few reasons. It was great to be up against some amazing brands in the category and still come off best. And it was great therefore that we as an internal team, doing everything ourselves, could, in the eyes of the judges at least, compete against some of the best out there in the agency landscape.
But the nicest bit of all is what they had to say about our approach: “It was a fantastic piece of work that stood head and shoulders above the field. Even in two or three years time we can’t imagine another organisation being this brave in the social space and literally handing its brand over to its audience.”
